Friends of SHRN
A “Friend of the Senior Human Resource Network” (SHRN) is a person or organization that supports the mission and activities of the Senior Human Resource Network but is not formally a member or actively involved in its operations.
A “Friend” of SHRN is someone who:
- Supports the Network’s Goals: They align with SHRN’s mission, which could involve advocating for senior human resources professionals, providing professional development opportunities, networking, and sharing knowledge in the HR community.
- Offers Assistance: This could include providing resources, attending events, volunteering, or assisting with initiatives that support senior HR professionals.
- Is Not a Formal Member: Unlike full members, who may have specific roles or responsibilities, a “Friend” might participate in activities without having the same level of involvement or commitment as regular members.
- Build Connections: They could help expand SHRN’s network by introducing the group to other organizations or individuals, promoting the network, and fostering collaborations.
- Dedicates Time: Contributing time to SHRN initiatives, events, and activities that benefit members and the community.
- Shares Resources: Offering knowledge, expertise, tools, or services that enhance SHRN’s operations or provide value to members.
- Cultivates of Camaraderie: Nurturing strong, supportive relationships among SHRN members, fostering a collaborative environment.
- Facilitates Networking Opportunities and Introductions: Helping connect members to key professionals, potential clients, or partners, thus expanding the network.
