Kristie Brachowski, President
Carole Bradford, Web and Data Manager
Carole currently serves as the Head of Human Resources for The Harvard Library at Harvard University. Prior to her role at Harvard, she held several leadership positions in other healthcare institutions such as Boston Children’s Hospital, Mass General Brigham, Sun Life of Canada and Blue Cross. Carole earned a bachelor’s degree from Wheaton College.
Dan Davis, Strategy, Member Engagement & Membership Teams
Dan is a strategic Human Resources executive with 30+ years of leading HR teams in the Financial Services (MetLife, Wellington Management), Medical Device (C.R. Bard/BD) and Healthcare (Beth Israel Lahey Health) industries. He is best known for developing highly integrated and engaged HR Business Partner teams which have successfully guided their organizations through all phases of business and economic cycles. Dan received his BA in Psychology and Economics from Dickinson College and completed Ph.D. coursework in Industrial/Organizational Psychology at University of Minnesota.
Joanne Derr, Strategist
Joanne is an Executive Coach who works with senior leaders and physicians who are stepping up to a new level of leadership and need to think and act strategically to gain greater success for themselves and their teams. Her clients range from large global technology companies and world class academic medical centers to small not-for profits. Prior to running her own business, Joanne was the VP of Human Resources at Care.com, at Neighborhood Health Plan, and at UMass Medical Center in Worcester, Director of Leadership Strategy at Nortel Networks, Director of HR and M&A leader at Bay Networks, and started her HR career at Digital Equipment Corporation. Joanne is a Certified Professional Coach through the International Coach Federation, a graduate of iPEC,, and co-chair of the Diversity and Inclusion Committee in The Boston Club. Joanne serves on two not-for-profit boards. She received her MS in Rehabilitation Counseling and her BS in Special Education, both from Boston University.
Catriona Eldemery, Quarterly Events Lead
Catriona is a strong advocate for mentoring and developing her associates by ongoing feedback and stretching their skills set to achieve the best they can be. She is proficient in all facets of People Operations resulting in an employer of choice approach, including strategic planning, organizational development, talent acquisition, performance management, employee engagement, change leadership, employee relations, budgeting, benefits planning, and sustaining a world-renowned culture of the brand. This strategic approach has strong results in employee retention, a decrease in employee litigation and increased customer satisfaction resulting in consistent strong business results. A highly organized, independent, and self-motivated professional able to cultivate long-term relationships with teams, executive stakeholders, and clients. She founded her own HR consulting business in Aug 2023, CME HR Consulting.
Sandy Etskovitz, Assistant Treasurer
Sandy Etskovitz is the founder of Esky HR Consulting, providing comprehensive HR solutions to small businesses. With expertise in all aspects of human resources, she helps businesses build strong HR foundations. Sandy brings a career marked by significant HR leadership, including a 14-year tenure at Akamai Technologies as Director, HR Operations, and prior roles at Monster Worldwide. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Syracuse University, an HR Certification from Bentley University, and is SPHR certified.
Rob Foley, Board Member at Large
Rob is an accomplished HR professional with core capabilities in organizational, team, and individual development. In his profession he focuses on Talent Strategy and on Career, Leadership, and Executive coaching. He has primarily worked in global roles for large US and European multi-national companies in both the US and in Asia, but he has also founded two consulting companies. Rob’s particular expertise is in building business-aligned talent strategies and organizational capabilities that deliver a company’s business objectives. He combines this skill with an endless passion to build and protect the self-esteem of “his people”, enabling companies and leaders to achieve new levels of performance while doing so. In his spare time, he coaches the unemployed back to employment. Rob is a certified coach with numerous organizational development certifications in his field. He holds a BS in Business Administration from Bryant University, and an MBA and Masters in Information Systems from Boston University. He, his wife An Hee and their two children reside in the woods of Groton, MA where they are active in town government.
Anne Fulginiti, Lead, People & Culture Consulting Group and Member Engagement Team
Anne is an Executive, Leadership, and Career Coach, Talent Management Consultant, and Founder of SeaLight Coaching and Consulting LLC. She works with clients to maximize performance, realize their potential, achieve their development and career goals, and find fulfillment. She is an executive coach with Harvard Business School Executive Education advanced leadership programs, and career coach/facilitator with King & Bishop. Anne has held leadership roles in talent management, organizational development, and management consulting at Sun Life Financial, Fidelity Investments and Mercer Management Consulting. Anne is a Certified Professional Coach through iPEC (Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching) and a member of HBS Women Alumnae Circles. She received an MBA from Harvard Business School and a B.S. in Psychology and Computational Mathematics from Tufts University.
Fred George, Vice President / Treasurer
Fred is the Founder and Principal of GeoSimms Consultants. The mission of GeoSimms is to work collaboratively with management teams to optimize their human capital. The objectives of the client organizations have been met by creating comprehensive talent management efforts, effective employee relations programs and focused communication processes. Previously, Fred held management positions in Human Resources and Administration with Norton Company, Data General Corporation (EMC), Millipore Corporation, Shipley Company Incorporated and Bechtel Corporation. His experience with start-up organizations includes leadership positions with WebMate Technologies, Brainstorm Technologies and Syncra Systems. As Vice President of Operations at Syncra Systems, Fred created the Human Resources, Finance and Information Technology functions. Fred holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a Master’s degree in Education from Alfred University.

Ken Halpin, Secretary
Ken Halpin is a Human Resources Director and former attorney with a deep HRBP background advising leadership teams and driving employee engagement. He has held HR leadership roles at Philips, Roche, Baystate Health,CVS Health and Orbia. Ken holds a B.A. in History from Trinity College and a J.D. from Boston University School of Law.
Lanning Levine, Immediate Past President
Most recently Lanning was CHRO, Senior Vice President of Human Resources at American Science and Engineering since 2011. With an emphasis on executive compensation and talent management, Lanning has previously led human resources in organizations including Medisense, C.R. Bard and Brooks Automation. He also founded Cyberspace Mining, an HR software company that automated and prioritized high volume resume reading with parsing and served as CEO from 1999 – 2003. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business management from Boston University and completed advanced studies in international executive management at Babson College and human resources management at University of New Hampshire. Lanning is a Board member of the CornerStones of Science. He is also a member of SHRM, NEHRA, World-At-Work, NECC and holds certifications in Compensation, Organization Data Analytics, is Six Sigma Green Belt certified.
Yve Lopez, Board Member at Large
Yve currently serves as the head of People and Culture for Kensington Investment Company, Inc, which is located in the Seaport district of Boston. She is a result-driven and versatile HR leader with over two decades of experience in the tech, healthcare, retail, and educational industries – across multinational large companies, start-ups, and nonprofits. Yve is differentiated by deep expertise across all aspects of HR, including compensation, benefits, recruiting, talent management, and HR Operations. Prior to KIC, Yve served as Director of HR for Silk Technologies, and before that, she was the first head of HR for SimSpace Corporation.
Holly Lum, Board Member at Large
Holly is a certified Executive Coach and holds a Master’s Degree in Organizational Development & Leadership. She enjoys helping individuals, teams, and organizations make positive changes to reach their full potential. Holly’s expertise includes employee experience, culture, and talent development. With over 18 years of experience in Marketing, Finance and Human Resources within the pharmaceutical industry, Holly is skilled in leading high-performing, cross-functional teams to deliver impact for organizations. Holly currently works at MAPFRE USA in Talent & Leadership Development.
Erica Wines, Membership Strategy
Erica is currently the Head of Talent & Culture for Neurotech Pharmaceuticals and has greater than 20 years of human resources experience, all within the healthcare industry including vaccines (ID Biomedical), big pharma (GSK), biotechnology (Alexion & Genzyme), life sciences (PerkinElmer) and medical devices (Hologic & Tepha). She describes herself as an articulate and engaging business partner who pushes her clients to be their best while helping them navigate challenging situations. Erica is also a certified coach of the Gallup StrengthsFinder® assessment and holds a BA in Public Policy (healthcare emphasis) from Brown University.
Helen Zarba, Board Member at Large, CHRO Collaborative Lead
Helen is the Chief People Officer at HealthDrive, a leading provider of ancillary care to long-term care facility residents. Helen has held senior HR positions for over 20 years in global organizations such as The Gillette Company, Proctor and Gamble, OnProcess Technology and Bright Horizons Family Solutions, including international assignments supporting Europe and AMEE. She has a particular passion for employee development and engagement, and most specifically enjoys cultivating environments in which a diverse talent base can thrive. She is a trained executive coach and mediator and holds a Bachelor’s degree from Warwick University, UK, and a Master’s degree from Reading, UK.
